FAQ

Common questions

If your question isn't here, just reach out. I'm happy to help.

What should I do if I'm in crisis?

Please don't wait for a reply from me. Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. I don't monitor my phone, email, or client portal for emergencies.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. A free consultation lets you ask questions and get a feel for working together before you commit. Book one here.

Are sessions online or in person?

Sessions are online through a secure video platform. I'm based in Seattle and see adults anywhere in Washington State. Learn how online therapy works.

Who do you work with?

I work with adults 18 and up, from people just out of college to older adults. Common reasons people reach out include anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, relationships, and burnout. See all specialties.

Do you take insurance?

I accept some insurance plans, and I can provide a superbill if you want to use out-of-network benefits. See fees and insurance for details.

How do I get started?

Book a free consult. If we decide to work together, you'll get a link to complete your intake paperwork online through the secure client portal before your first session.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. What you share in therapy is confidential, with a few legal exceptions, such as a risk of serious harm to yourself or others. We'll go over these limits together at the start.

I'm already a client. Where do I log in?

Use the client portal to complete forms, manage appointments, and pay.
